Ingredients:
- 4 oz) Semi-sweet chocolate
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 cups sugar
- pinch cream of Tartar
- 4 oz whipping cream
Chocolate Mousse Directions:
- melt chocolate and butter in a double boiler
- separate the eggs
- temper egg yolks into chocolate and butter mixture
- add a pinch cream of tartar to the egg whites and beat until stiff peaks
- fold the eggs whites into the chocolate mixture
- place into a glass cup or ramekins and chill till set
