Buttermilk Biscuits Ingredients:
• 2 cups all purpose flour
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 3/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon sugar
• 1 stick frozen butter
• 1 cup buttermilk
Gravy:
- 1 1/2 to 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne
- 1 lbs breakfast sausage
- 1/4 cup of all purpose flour
- butter 4 tablespoons

- Gravy:
- Melt butter in a deep pan
- brown sausage meat in the butter
- add flour stir well cook until the flour smell is gone, 1 to 2 minutes
- add salt, pepper, and cayenne to taste (optional)
- stir in milk a little at a time using either a whisk or cooking spoon
- reduce gravy till thick and serve over hot biscuits
