Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 egg separated
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 cup of water or 1 1/4 cup buttermilk
Waffles Directions:
- combine all dry ingredients in a bowl and whisk to distribute the ingredients
- melt butter
- separate 1 egg place yolk in a separate bowl
- place all wet ingredients and the egg yolk in a bowl and whisk
- combine wet and dry ingredients
- Beat the egg white
- fold the egg white into your mixture
- pour onto a preheated waffle iron
- severe with butter and syrup or whatever toppings you like
