Awesome Croissants

Ingredients:

amazing butter croissants  

  • 500 grams all purpose flour
  • 100 grams water
  • 180 grams milk
  • 60 grams sugar
  • 40 grams soft unsalted butter
  • 11 grams instant dry yeast
  • 12 grams salt
  • 1 egg
    Butter Slab
  • 280 grams softened unsalted butter
  • 1  7″ x 8″  plastic bag

Directions for awesome croissants:

  • Please refer to the video
  • Prepare the dough and butter slab 3 days before baking
  • The amazing flavor will blow you away, but they take time
  • First prepare the dough. It is easier if you have a stand mixer, but it can be kneaded by hand.
  • Make your butter slab
  • refrigerate over night
  • Day 2 begin the process of folding your dough and butter carefully (DO NOT RUSH THIS PART!)
  • Day 3 Roll out shape let rise then bake
  • ENJOY!
